Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information — when you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account.
• Profile and preparation context — details you provide during onboarding or later, such as your current role, target role, target company, years of experience, interview type, confidence level, preparation timeline, and any job description you paste.
• Resume data — the resume file (PDF or DOCX) you upload and the text we extract from it. We keep a single saved resume per account: uploading a new resume replaces the previous one. Interview kits and ATS reports keep a point-in-time copy of the resume text they were generated from, so your history remains meaningful.
• Generated content and activity — interview kits, questions and answers, ATS compatibility reports, suggested projects, your notes, and completion progress.
• Payment and subscription information — your plan, subscription status, and transaction references. Payments are processed by Razorpay; we do not store your full card number, UPI credentials, or other Payment Instrument details on our systems.
• Usage and technical data — pages visited, product events, approximate device/browser information, IP address, and diagnostic identifiers (such as request IDs) used for security, rate limiting, and troubleshooting.
• Communications — messages you send us through the contact form or by email.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and operate your account, and to authenticate you.
• To provide the core service: analyzing your resume, generating personalized interview kits, running ATS checks, and saving your notes and progress.
• To manage subscriptions, process payments through Razorpay, and enforce plan usage limits.
• To respond to support requests and communicate service-related updates.
• To secure the Platform — including fraud prevention, abuse detection, and rate limiting — and to comply with legal obligations.
• To understand product usage and improve features, reliability, and performance.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your resume for advertising.

3. AI Processing of Your Content

P3Kit uses third-party artificial intelligence providers to generate interview questions, model answers, resume and ATS analysis, and related content. Your resume text, preparation context, and job descriptions are shared with these providers only as needed to complete the specific generation you request. We integrate with these providers through their business/API services, under terms which state that API inputs are not used to train their models. 4. Legal Bases for Processing

Where applicable law (such as the GDPR) requires a legal basis, we rely on:

• Performance of a contract — most processing (account, resume analysis, kit and ATS generation, billing) is necessary to provide the service you signed up for.
• Legitimate interests — securing the Platform, preventing abuse, and improving the product, balanced against your rights.
• Consent — where we ask for it explicitly; you may withdraw consent at any time.
• Legal obligation — where we must retain or disclose information to comply with law.

5. How We Share Information

We share personal information only with service providers who process it on our behalf to run the Platform, under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations:

• AI generation — third-party AI model providers (to generate your requested content).
• Payments — Razorpay (checkout, subscriptions, refunds).
• Authentication — Google (sign-in).
• Hosting and infrastructure — our cloud hosting, database, and job-queue providers.
• Analytics and diagnostics — product analytics and AI observability tooling. Analytics events never include your resume text, job descriptions, or generated answers.
• Email — transactional email delivery providers.

We may also disclose information where required for fraud verification, or by law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users, ourselves, or others. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to secure your session, and analytics identifiers to understand how the Platform is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in from working.

7. Data Retention

• Your account, profile, saved resume, and generated content are retained for as long as your account is active. Uploading a new resume replaces your previously saved resume.
• Interview kits and ATS check history (including their resume-text snapshots) are retained so you can revisit past preparation, until you delete them or your account.
• Short-lived operational and support logs are automatically deleted on a rolling basis.
• Transaction records are retained as required by tax, accounting, and other legal obligations, even after account deletion.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, signed and verified background-job processing, and least-privilege access to production data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security; please also keep your own account credentials confidential.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction (including under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, and India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you, and receive a copy of it.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information (your profile and resume can be updated in-app).
• Delete your personal information and account.
• Object to, or ask us to restrict, certain processing, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
• Receive your data in a portable format.
• Complain to your local data protection authority.

10. International Data Transfers

We are based in India, and our service providers may store or process information in other countries. Where personal information is transferred across borders, we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives an adequate level of protection consistent with this policy and applicable law.

11. Children’s Privacy

The Platform is intended for users who are at least 18 years of age (or the age of legal majority in their jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on this page with its “Last updated” date. For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice, such as an in-app notice or email. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
